I liked how spacious were the rooms, the breakfast was excellent, but our bed sheets were stained and our room had roaches.

Our kids room the back door didn’t close properly and after the rain water would come inside

A decent place to stay if Kata Beach and Phuket are your kind of thing

Pool and kids club were great for our little one

It was a little expensive for what it was, but think that’s down to location. Kata Beach was insanely busy and wasn’t really for us, so felt like a lot of money in comparison with the quieter more serene and magical) islands

Very Good

Staff in particular were excellent - friendly, kind and helpful, they make the hotel what it is! The restaurant was also great, with a good breakfast and theme nights, e.g. Thai night, seafood night, which we really enjoyed. Location was also very central.

The property has good bones but is in need of sprucing up. Towels at the pool were a bit worn.

Professional staffs and good family hotel. Room with balcony, beach bag and beach slippers provided. Play room for children is a bonus. Shuttle bus service to kata beach. Location is great, in the middle of Kata night market and beach.

Staff are amazing, the rooms nice but the public spaces (not the lobby area) could use an upgrade :)

What I loved were the staff, they were very happy and sweet all of the time. We ended up with very sick kids towards the end of our trip, and they got us a doctor, arranged to extend our stay in our same rooms without overcharging us for the last minute change. The rooms had great a/c, were spacious (we had family deluxe room with adjoining room). We had a small kitchenette and the cleaners bring new bottled water in each day. The resort felt safe and is in a good spot in Kata.

Although the rooms are really clean and bright and have everything you need, it doesnt have a sense of upgrade in a long while. The overall view of the resort (more like a hotel) is generally good, but needs some time and money spent to really lift its game. It just feels tired and a little outdated. The pool areas and eating areas feel very crowded with chairs and tables.

Great location, close to many restaurants, shops, 7 eleven etc The shuttle to the beach is great and staff was friendly. Room was clean everyday. Breakfast had good variety.

Nothing in special. Kids area may need some renovation works on the floor.

Great staff and location with a fun pool for the kids

I loved the staff at the breakfast buffet, the restaurant and the guys at the front desk who dealt with transportation. They were all so kind and tried to help us out however they could. The location was also great. The open air restaurant that was close to the hotel was super delicious and really affordable. The pool with the slide was also great for the kids. They played and swam there for hours!

The hotel rooms for sure need to be updated. There were so many things that needed fixing like the door handle that was about to fall off the bathroom door, the wire shelving units kept falling through if you put anything remotely heavy on it. The shelf where the towels were kept in the bathroom looked like it was going to fall off the wall and the light in the shower sometimes worked... the glass doors to the balcony moved in the wind which was at times alarming. Despite all of that, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. If you are worried about your kids messing up the room and breaking things, there's no need for that here so in a way, there's less pressure regarding that. Not that we'd let the kids go crazy in the room but well, kids are kids and things happen! Also, some rooms have doors that face a building that had really loud music at night. That didn't bother us so much but if you have light sleepers, it could be an issue.

Perfect family friendly destination

Loved the layout of the resort, lots of greenery and three pools, lots of activities for the kids but then separate, quieter areas for adults. The room was large, clean with a great bathroom too.

Unfortunately the room that I was in had a small infestation of these small moths the moment I first checked in and persisted until I left. Cleaning staff were aware and it became annoying but they didn’t eat or make holes in my clothes so that’s something.

Wonderful

Very quiet hotel and at the same time very close to the Main Street with restaurants, markets and spas, and to the beach. The swimming pools were wonderful as was the food.

There were no toothbrushes and toothpaste.

Good location, Kids Friendly, hospitable staff, comfortable stay!

We booked the room 2 hours before check-in. Booking accepted, and to my surprise my room was upgraded! Rooms were spacious, it came with kitchen en-suite with fridge - microwave, cooking stove and basic plates, pots n pan for light cooking. Rooms were made everyday without asking and very clean rooms. Breakfast spread was good with mix of local And western options. Different Kids pools were suitable for toddlers and grown up kids, my kids loved them both . Highly recommended!

The kids swimming pool with slide was shallow, but deep pool was very close to jacuzzi where it was very deep for kids to access. There should be a bifurcation or any indications between them. This will prevent any mishap.

Lovely stay at Kata!

Staff are fabulous! So friendly and fun and really make you feel welcome. Pool side room was lovely to be able to go jump in the pool so easily.

Maintenance around pool area is needed.

Nice and relaxing stay in Kata.

The staff were all really nice. Particularly the breakfast staff. They were all lovely but one staff member made me smile every day, I think his name was Kla. :) The hotel is in good proximity to restaurants and shops but a little far from the beach but the free shuttle bus to the beach is a good service.

Probably the hotel rooms might need a bit of a renovation soon. They are older style. But the rooms are very clean.
